The day after

I’ve read somewhere that swimming is the best type of sport to work all the muscle groups but I never thought that swimming could cause such sore muscles. I am in big pain after the swimming workout from yesterday. It hurts everywhere! The most uncomfortable pain is on my back between the shoulder blades, it’s just awful!

I was planning to do some yoga today and I have scheduled a run for tomorrow morning but I am not sure at this point if I am going to make it at all. I guess yoga is out, I am making a recovery day today and resting in the hope that tomorrow I will be able to run.

In other news, I have purchased the James Wilson workout program this weekend and I am looking forward to diving into the exercises but I have to do my homework first because it is quite overwhelming (same as JELF but I eventually got the hang of it). I also joined the JW’s FitnessMap workout group on Facebook, included in the workout plan, and there is a lot of activity going on there so I am hoping to learn a few things before jumping into the workouts.

This is a 12-week program (weeks 13-26 are also available at extra cost) and I am hoping that it will help me lose body fat, build more muscles and become more lean.

I have both the Body Earned Gym and Body Earned Home workout plans and it really depends on the outcome of my trial session at the new gym on Wednesday whether I am going to work out at home or at the gym. I want to see what kind of machines the new gym has but I am definitely more motivated if I would go to the gym because I am tempted too much to postpone a workout at home.

I already have a feeling that the James Wilson Body Earned Workout Program will become one of my favorite workout programs, along with the Jamie Eason LiveFit Trainer which I got to try last winter and had excellent results (got as far as week 8 only, unfortunately).

I have found a great post which describes the Jamie Eason LiveFit Trainer and James Wilson Body Earned Workouts
