Next week is going to be a bit chaotic on the planning and execution front.
Monday and Tuesday I go to work as usual but I have a team building event on Monday evening so that day is all planned out.
Tuesday after work I will rush home to pack because I am traveling to the mountains on Wednesday so I won’t have much time on that day either.
And then I will be enjoying the mountains and the snow and the spa from Wednesday till Sunday. As with all trips it’s hard to plan workouts and food but I had a few small successes over the last couple of weeks so I will try my best to keep it up.
Fitness
Although I have configured a new weight training plan with my trainer on Thursday and I can’t wait to start, it’s going to have to wait till after the trip. *sniff*
On the bright side the hotel has a wellness area with indoor pool and a small fitness room with cardio machines. The website states that they offer various classes as well so I am hoping that I will do some Yoga while I am there.
I am planning to go ice skating and cross country skiing as well but taking walks and finally trying snowshoeing would be nice too.
It’s going to be quite a lot of cardio for one week and I am hoping that this will burn some of that nasty body fat while also not affecting much the muscle mass that I fought so hard to build so far.
Food
We booked 3/4 pension so we will have buffet breakfast, a small lunch and full-menu dinner. It is going to be a challenge not to overeat because the food at the the Falkensteiner hotel chain is always so good. Self-control is the key!
Geek
I am taking all my books and gadgets and I will do some time hacking and coding and learning. I am really looking forward to have so much free time for all that!

Reading
Taking a break from The Hobbit right now, it’s a great book but I am not really so much into it currently.
I read Gone Girl by Gilian Flynn a few months ago and I bought her two other books this week so Dark Places and Sharp Objects are up next.
I have so many books on my Kindle that I bought over the last few months and haven’t read yet, this trip will be a good oportunity to catch up on my reading.
Gaming
I am going to miss our Xbox One during the trip but I have Device 6 on my iPad and some other games, The Room is also awesome.
Let’s see if I can get over my rage against Candy Crush so that I can continue it, currently at level 77.
