I stayed up till late last night and finished all available Scandal season 3 episodes (it’s going to be difficult to wait till next year February for the next ones) and also watched a pretty cool movie Project X which is supposedly based on a true story where three guys in high school throw the most epic party of all times eventually burning down the entire neighborhood.
Next up on our series marathon will be Homeland season 3, Walking Dead season 4 and Rubicon.
I updated my mom’s tablet to Windows 8.1 and it went smoothly. She is now super happy with it and said that it’s more responsive and fast. Two down, one more to go!
We continued our spy adventures in Splinter Cell Blacklist and found some missions which we like better mostly because we don’t have to stay undiscovered the whole time. These missions took longer to complete and we were so glad that they have checkpoints so we don’t have to restart from the beginning every time we failed.
I ate and snacked (those mini pretzels are so addictive) quite a lot and often these last days so I am trying to incorporate at least 30 minutes of exercise every day. Today was Jillian Michaels time again and I tried the Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism dvd. I already knew most of the circuits but this one includes also a lot of kickboxing moves and cardio. This is definitely more tough than No More Trouble Zones which I did last Friday. I have a feeling that I’m going to be in a lot of pain tomorrow!
I am seriously addicted to Candy Crush and I am fighting with level 23 since 3 days already. I get to the last 2 jellies in the end and don’t have enough moves to crush them. So annoying!
I bought a bunch of books on my Kindle recently and I have to somehow make a bit of time to read them. My best purchase is The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks by far. I’ve seen the movie hundreds of times and I even own the dvd so I was really happy to see that the book is now finally available on the Kindle too.
We decorated our Christmas tree today as well and I am going to spend the rest of the evening relaxing and being lazy. That is what a vacation is all about, right?
