Last week was tough. I had to substitute for my team lead while he was on vacation so I had a lot of work to do in the office. It went well and I finished a lot of tasks but I was really glad for Friday.
This weekend was for catching up on the house chores. Laundry, groceries, lots of cooking and also taking care of a sick boyfriend. Nevertheless it was a nice Valentine’s Day weekend, even if we spent it at home this year.
We started Saturday with a yummy breakfast after our groceries were delivered. I went and bought some fresh bread too.
I also got some more groceries that I forgot to order and I bought cake too. 🙂
This is why I can't have a six pack! One of the best cake shops in town is here next to our place and I happened to pass by today. Big mistake!!! 😂😂😂 This Saturday is for catching up on the chores. First batch of laundry is done, groceries have been delivered, went shopping for bread and more groceries that I forgot to order, chicken soup is cooking as we speak and also taking care of a sick boyfriend. Started today's workout with #freeletics #gaia standard. 400 jumping jacks, 300 jumps, 200 climbers, 100 standups. Those jumps almost killed me and I still can't get the standups right. I hate my coach right now! 😡 This was the first time that my feedback was very exhausting and that it was too much. #freeathlete #noexcuses Finished with #kaylaitsines #bbg #week16: 1/2 arms + 1/2 abs. We spent the rest of the day relaxing on the couch and watching Supernatural. Dinner was tuscan lemon chicken with potatoes, zucchini and yogurt-garlic dip. This was a huge plate of food and I managed to eat it all. This girl needs fuel for her workouts. 🙂

Funny story: I busted my boyfriend yesterday with these flowers which he got for me for Valentine’s Day. He’s been sick for 3 days, barely able to even move, but on Saturday afternoon he secretly sneaked out of the house while I was reading to get me these beautiful roses. I thought I heard his keys so I got up and asked what’s up since he’s been sick and all, and he confessed and showed me the roses. He actually planned to stash them till Sunday and he almost got away with it but I kind of ruined his plans. 😛

Started with #kaylaitsines #bbg #week16 full body workout and it went well. I did the usual 4 x 7 minutes, 2 round of 2 circuits. I ❤️ BBG 2.0!!! #thekaylamovement Finished with #freeletics 4/5 #iris endurance. Instead of the usual 2×2, I did the normal workout this time with 2×1 km run outside, and 400 jumping jacks and 400 mountain climbers inside. Of course it had to start raining as soon as I went out for the runs. 😕😕😕 #freeathlete #noexcuses I think the coach hates me, he gave me again my most hated workouts for next week: 2 x #gaia and #iris, even though I said it was too much. What did I do to deserve this?!?!? 😩😩😩
