Happy Monday and welcome to my Marvelous In My Monday party!
I won’t bore you with a recap of my last week because all I did was eat-sleep-code-workout.
My weekend was however a bit more interesting.
As usual, my weekend started on Friday afternoon with me going to the gym for the Arms & Abs workout of the pre-training week 3 Bikini Body Guide by Kayla. I was not in the mood at all but I timed leaving from work perfectly to when there is a yoga class at the gym so that I have the weight room all to myself. After a short warmup on the treadmill I completed the workout. The first circuit went great and I improved on straight leg sit-ups a lot but the second circuit nearly killed me (figuratively speaking of course). Let’s just say that I am no friend of commandos just yet.
I had a big breakfast and watched the Alpine Skiing on TV on Saturday morning and I finally managed to go out jogging around noon.
I was looking forward to this since weeks but it somehow never went as planned, until now. I was one LISS session behind so I decided to double up and do a big round so I complete both remaining LISS sessions in one.
The jog-run-walk was awesome and I felt so fresh and energetic afterwards. It was however very cold outside but luckily I dressed very warm with several layers.
I spent the rest of Saturday watching The Vampire Diaries. I am officially addicted.
I woke up grumpy and in a bad mood on Sunday (dunno why ๐ฆ ) and it continued all day so I spent most of the day in bed watching Vampire Diaries. I got up to get some food and I managed to squeeze in the Full Body Workout, which didn’t go so well because my tummy was full and I felt sick for the entire time. Lesson learned: don’t work out on a full tummy! ๐ฆ
Today I was very busy at work and I had to stay late but the marvelous part of my Monday was definitely the Thai chicken curry that I had for dinner just now. It is cold and snowing outside and I really needed my comfort food. ๐
