It’s finally spring and the weather is nice and warm so we can get out of the house, enjoy the sun and fresh air and move more.
We drove to Bamberg last weekend to visit the city, have lunch and try some of their famous beers. I finally had the chance to use my DSLR camera again.
What to do in Bamberg:
- Visit the old town which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Try the famous smoked beer and many other types of beer at many beer gardens
- Eat at Calimeros
- Buy special beer at the Bierothek
I am planning to take such short one-day trips more often and I will add new blog posts to this new series “Best of Bavaria”.
